Today I began spring cleaning. I didn't set out to start specifically today, but I was finally feeling well enough to tackle something and there were chocolatey finger prints on the wall in the hall that were bugging me, along with some sort of mystery sticker of some kind that would just not peel off the floor. I wound up scrubbing the wood flooring in the halls, washing the hall walls, rearranged the assorted paintings/prints/photos hanging there.
Clean walls with freshly rearranged paintings/prints/photos. You'd never know it but all of these walls are the same colour - Revere Pewter by Benjamin Moore. It takes on so many colours throughout the day. (All of these pictures were taken within a minute of one another.)
This is a print of painting done by a friend. I love all the blues!
I did this painting myself last year. It makes me think of old books with the marbling along the page edges.
Riley told me today that if I turned it another way it looks like a forest fire.
A photo from summer vacation 2012 taken at Cows Creamery on Prince Edward Island when we were only a family of six. Time to get an updated one on the wall - Judah is nearly two!
I bought this painting unframed as part of a fundraiser to build a school in Kenya. I had it framed locally and I love it! (We have a framing shop but no place to have photos developed - weird, but true!)
