~ Capturing the context of contentment in everyday life ~
Every Thursday, at Like Mother, Like Daughter!
{pretty}
I was about to throw out these fading tulips from Easter but then en route to the garbage can the sun struck them and then they looked beautiful again. They are hours away from all of the petal falling off but the sunlight made the browning edges fade away and they got a day's reprieve. :)
Nachos! When I send Dwayne to the grocery store with a list I'm never sure what else is coming home as well. Yesterday he had a craving for nachos and brought home the most colourful onion to add to the usual cheese and green peppers. So pretty! Oh, and delicious!

My sweet friend Rosie, who lives a 3 hour drive from me, sent tomato plants over to me when her husband came to town for work. I'm happy to see green shoots again! This photo is a couple of days old now and since it was taken much of the snow you see in the background has melted away. That is also making me happy! +17C/62F is g-l-o-r-i-o-u-s in April!
{funny}
I was sitting in the passenger seat of our van the other day, something I don't do very often, and I thought I would rummage through the contents of the door pocket. Guess what I found? An unopened Christmas card from my dear friend Sarah! It is Jane Austen themed and everything! Love it! Not sure who tucked it in there or when but it was a fun surprise to find it this week.

These two! They mostly play really well together but when they don't you definitely hear about it. There was much negotiation over bath toys but it was a mostly peaceful tub time!
